How to get Cheap Textbooks
Textbooks can be found downtown at the Student Bookstore. Books can be bought or rented for cheaper than the bookstores on campus. Bought books can be sold back to the Student Bookstore after usage for an amount set by the store, which usually is not much (e.g. a $150 for $50). Rented books are lent at a lower price than bought books, but must be returned within a certain day or a fine must be paid.
If you really want cheap textbooks though, check student Facebook groups because students will sell their books on there for cheaper than what the Student Bookstore offers. Study Areas
The best places to study are the library (open 24/7) and the HUB. On-campus dorms have study lounges in their buildings, making it convenient to get to if you live in one. If you like studying outdoors, the Alumni Pond (behind the Sackett Building) or the Arboretum (across from North Halls) are great places to go.
Scheduling Tips
Be sure to check your elion account in October for the Fall Semester and March for the Spring Semester. This is where you will find your class registration date. Registration dates will vary depending on the number of credits you have. The more credits you take, the earlier you get to schedule your classes.
