Travelling outside of State College
If you want to go to nearby cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, New York, DC etc, you could either take the Megabus or Greyhound.
Megabuses are new, two story buses, equipped with wifi and charging ports on board. The Megabus station is in front of Walmart at 1665 N Atherton St. If you book tickets early, you could sometimes get them for only $1.
Greyhound buses are smaller and older and do not have wifi or charging ports. Greyhound also makes a lot of stops throughout the trip so it usually takes a lot longer to get to your destination. Greyhound buses park at 152 N Atherton St, near Pho 11.
You could also take the plane to other cities via State College Airport. NOTE that if you are LEAVING THE US AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, you MUST get your i2o re-signed at the DISSA office on the 4th floor of the Boucke Building if you are international.
